Fifth Commandment of God

"You Shall not Kill"

1. Have I committed murder or manslaughter? Did I physically injure anyone?

2. Have I had an abortion or advised someone to have an abortion?

3. Regarding abortion, check with your priest to see if you were automatically excommunicated. The excommunication must be lifted first before going to confession.

4. Did I participate in or approve of the grave evil known as "mercy killing"? Did I attempt suicide?

5. Am I guilty of driving dangerously, recklessly, over speeding or disobeying traffic laws?

6. Did I give bad example of using drugs, over eating, not taking medicines, drinking alcohol, smoking, being workaholic?

7. Did I sell/give or encourage someone to drink liquor or consume drugs? Did I sell/give/encourage smoking?

8. Have I been engaged in unjust lawsuits? Have I been guilty of bigotry?

9. Have I knowingly given negative thoughts to lead someone to depression?

10. Deliberately and unjustly caused another's death?

11. Did I or my spouse undergo sterlisation or vasectomy?

12. Did I dispense drugs that caused abortion or euthanasia? Did I help to protect life from conception to until natural death? Did I dispense wrong drugs; wished harm to another? Or effected harm to another?

13. Angered, quarreled, fought, kept hatred or held a grudge? Refused to speak with others? Desired revenge?

14. Caused others to commit sin? Caused enmity between others?

15. Did I give scandal by sinful speech or immodest dress?

16. Have I not forgiven injuries?

17. Did I care about my physical, emotional and spiritual health?
